春天的腳步近了！又到了穿著花花衣兒撿蛋蛋的時候了～
復活節是基督教的節日之一，它慶祝耶穌基督被釘上十字架之後復活昇天，這象徵著重生與希望，不過衍變至非基督教的民間習俗則成為「慶祝春回大地」的廣納異教節日，因為兔子是異教象徵；也代表多產，而蛋則象徵初春一切恢復生機，所以典型的復活節與彩繪蛋、小兔子脫離不了關係，在復活節的前夕，孩子們會為朋友和家人給雞蛋上色彩繪一番，而據說復活節兔子會將彩蛋藏在草地裏，因此讓孩子們去草地尋找彩蛋也會是復活節的重要活動之一。
在南加；最盛大的復活節親子活動就是 Egg Hunt，幾乎各地市政府和教會都會舉辦撿蛋活動，型態可大可小，參加過最盛大的一次是直升機空投「炸蛋」，十分的有趣！就是人山人海多到爆炸。
